"Altes Dorf Westerholt"(old village Westerholt)

Here are 58 old half-timbered houses with many inscriptions that tell us about former times. The are 56 of these houses listed as a historic monument. The first time this village was mentioned in documents was 1047.

Maybe sometime you could translate and publish what is written for those of us that don't know German ? So neat to see things this old that have managed to survive despite the worlds troubles !
