its was sad news, I am Indonesian who always see it happen every rainy season. People there like to live in the river side, put them in danger. My government not put much intention, so sad.

They are having floods now in north of America USA with some of the same results sad to say . Scary !

they like to live by the river side cus there's a good water supply/fertile soil for growing crops right?

i feel so lucky when that i have clean water that comes straight out of the tap.

Oh my! I haven't heard of this news yet here! I'm now looking for an English news vid. It's such a sad tragedy reminds me of the storms that passed by here few years back too.

That was totally distressing. ..When mother earth gets revenge on the damage of nature, it is the worst destruction of human habitat.

I hear they have floods in Jakarta every year.. Last year, even the airport was closed down. I hope the goovernment do something about this in order to prevent losing lives every year..

that is tragedy in big city, many people's missing their family in second times....small but the same feel when tsunami came aceh before

This place was one of beatiful tourist destinations.
It was a tragedy that happened in a big city. It's not a river. It was broken down made lake that the whole water in it pouring out into the houses below. The people will be relocated to the safer place. I hope my government will learn a lot from this.
