This is a time with many bad news, Typhoons over the Philippines and Vietnam, Tsunami in Samoa, many earthquakes in Indonesia, monsoon in India and landslip in Italy. This we shall not forget, this ugly face of nature. But there is another side of the nature and we can see it too, sometimes.
I'm from the Philippine but my are was not really affected by the flooding. You should see Manila. It suddenly became an ocean. I also do Photography and you can see my blog here: www.warpedopinion.com
I'm from the Philippines. Sure, nature could be so cruel at times. Some parts of luzon suffered so much from the 2 typhoons ("ondoy" and "pepeng") and now "ramil" is coming. I could feel the pain of the families who lost their homes and loved ones.
Those flowers are evidence of the greater good side of nature. I love them! I wish I could also have orchids on my little garden.
