Amsterdam impressions

Some Impressions of Amsterdam you can find here. Usually I try to go to Amsterdam once a year, it is not so far from the place I live and I like this city very much.
The sea palace, a floating Chinese restaurant near the Amsterdam Central Station is the first floating restaurant built in Europe. It is a smaller replica of the Jumbo Floating Restaurant in Aberdeen Harbour, Hong Kong

At first I thought that was Hong Kong. It's a long time since I was last in Amsterdam: it's obviously changed.

Brought back so many sweet memories. My partner and I went to the Netherlands in the spring of 2003. We were in hope to find his family's old farm but we didn't find it. At one point, he was signing with this old farmer on the side of a country road. He spoke English and the farmer spoke Dutch and somehow they were trying to figure things out. Amsterdam was so charming and adorable. Our last day there was the Queen's Day. The whole city was in orange and in party mode. We had a blast.
